Much apologies for the late update-y. Yah, I know. I always say “sorry this” and “sorry that” nowadays. I have just momentarily lost my interest in blogging. Right now I am currently busy with:

- BLEACH Marathon
- Korean Dramas Marathon
- Law of Ueki marathon (that is, if Michael decides to bring the LOU CD next Tuesday)
- practice for Choir
- practice and review in Spelling for the PSAP (life sucks, I got to be chosen as one of the representatives of our school)
- fanfiction
- finishing Final Fantasy V (GBA Version)
- getting my act together

Well, how ‘bout that? Ain’t I a busy bee? Har har.

I have heard from my grandma that she can feel my disinterest in studying ever since I started getting addicted in anime. Er, well, I have always been this way. It’s much wonder that I even pass without studying (Well, I do study, but in a rushed “Holy-crap-it’s-5-minutes-before-the-test!” kinda way). Anyway, I know that they only want the best for me. They even want me to study at UP (No freaking way I’ll pass, man)!

Aaaaand… I get to go to the JS Prom. Again, I reiterate my statement: Life sucks. Big time. Once again, I have been coerced by my grandma into doing something “fun” and “socially cultivating.” Whatevs. The only thing I am after is the grade. Everyone who gets to go to the prom gets to have an extra grade. Now the bad thing about this is that your 1500 pesos will only account to a grade! They say that even if you pay but still don’t show up, the grade is not applicable to you anymore. Bad, bad, bad! Torture I say!

I just hope that the food in that Manila Hotel is good. *grumbles*

Happy New Year everyone! Sorry (again) for the late greeting and update! Hehe!

Yesterday was posilutely, absotively fun! Fun! YAY!!! (I’m hyper… Too much sugar in my drink!) CJ, Arwyn and Jedwyn all came to visit and we are all excited. They slept in our house and we all decided to go to SM Mall of Asia (now dubbed comically by Tito Wynn as “SMmall of Asia” with the SMmall being pronounced as small). Though we didn’t go bowling (aww…) or even watch the dolphin show (400 for a seat? C’mon!), we had fun touring the whole place. Strangely enough, most places we visited were bookstores. We visited 5 different bookstores, including Powerbooks, which was where I bought the two new mangas I would add to my collection (well, not really a collection.) Tito Wynn also discovered this unique book that is perfect for a math-problematic person like me. This book has all the tricks for easy computation. By the time you have memorized and mastered the tips, you can compute like an absolute pro. Wah! Wanna buy it! Also, we ate our KFC meal on Sunset Avenue. Haha. Jedwyn had fun walking around, we almost lost him cause we didn’t notice that he was walking away already!

Also, it seems as if CJ and I are high on the same topic: BLEACH! I am still stuck on Bleach! Help! I want to watch it some more! Mommy Astrid, can I watch it in your house? –insert puppy eyes here- I’ll be a good girl, pwamis!

Just took a bath. It is freezing. Freezing cold. I reckon I cannot survive Winter in the U.S. Don’t get me wrong, I would love to see snow but I don’t think I can handle the cold weather. (Still, taking a quick shower in the evening is refreshing…).

Guess what? I’ve got good news! We might go to the Dolphin Show in SM Mall of Asia this New Year! YAY! Isn’t it grand??? I’ve seen a dolphin show in Hong Kong before but I never got the chance to take a picture of them or interact with them. Now’s my chance! I would go with Tito Wynn to the show. I am so excited!

LOL. Speaking of MOA, I keep on thinking about the things I would love to buy while still in that mega-mall. I would buy a manga. Any manga would do but if possible, I would like to buy a volume of XXXHolic. Since National decided to stop selling mangas, I have convinced myself that my only hope to purchase an authentic one is through Powerbooks, whose nearest branch is sadly (but fortunately) located on the Mall of Asia. I would also love to buy the super-lurve-able fragrance from Blue Magic. I don’t know what its name is but I recall reading the word “Radiance” in its name. You see, my Mom bought me a bottle of this perfume before she went away. It smells like sampaguita. I wanna smell like sampaguita. Hehe.

Er, is someone reading my posts? I guess not. But you gotta admit, it’s fun knowing that you have a little space on the web!

Whew! I am alive. Yes, alive and breathing. Alive, breathing and still kicking. Sorry to all y'all people who want me to be already six feet under. Hope you don't mind that I am still spreading terror.

We went to Pampanga. It was fun, but tiring. We went to Palazzo Royale to celebrate the 50th Wedding Anniversary of my grandma's sister and then we had a family reunion. We also toured around Clark and I got to witness the Parada of the Parol. We also went to my aunt's house to celebrate her birthday. I also read this creepy nonfiction book about the Rape of Nanking. I'm gonna do a book review about it if I have the time.

Haha. I just watched Survivor: Cook Islands. I knew Yul would win! Anyway, I’m not here to talk about some crazy reality show. Honestly, a lot of things had been happening and it so overwhelmingly incredible and scary.

We just had the first part of our 3rd Periodical Exams. It is terrible!!! English was fine; I can answer it almost flawlessly. Trigonometry was… Well, it was a heartbreaking thing, indeed it was. I don’t know what the hell I answered in that quiz. Heck, I don’t even know if I’ll pass! My golly gosh, if I do manage to pass, which is already a miracle by itself, I’ll forever be singing praises. And Values? Well, I thought that it was easy. Apparently, it wasn’t! I didn’t know about the Kinds of Evil and their example. What was really evil was that it was worth 20 points… times 2!!! Waaagh! And then there was Chemistry. It was alright… Until the problem solving part. What I wrote and how I even understood it was beyond me. I swear, I’m going crazy. The only thing keeping me sane right now is the thought of an easier and more student-friendly exam tomorrow.

Kakulitan corner!

OMG, I don’t know why but I really had fun this day. As usual, school was boring blahblahblah. Let’s move on to the fun part: Going to Mommy Astrid’s house! Yes, I had fun. The plan was to go there and draw the manga “Comet Yard.” We have been planning on drawing it for quite a while now. We already have the concepts and the character designs. So we went there, expecting everything to be all business but it turned out that we managed to not start even 1% of our manga. All of us were having a blast just playing around.

We also ate those spicy pancit cantons. Yeah, it was great! I must admit, it really was spicy but it wasn’t anything I cannot handle. Sa katotohanan, masarap siya! And also, Cruz was very funny because he kept on telling us that he can’t taste what he is eating and that he ate things a thousand times spicier than that pancit canton. However, it was very noticeable how he was sweating like a pig and how his eyes are bloodshot. It looks like he was going to cry. Acosta was the funniest, since he cannot stomach it all and had to endure our laughter at his inability to finish his serving. Using his monay (as his extra food and as a napkin)
and his juice, he managed to eat all of his pancit canton. Hehe.

Then we went crazy over animé songs. Mommy Astrid, Acosta and I are all anime addicts so we talked and talked like there was nothing in the world except us and our own anime world. It’s as if Kat wasn’t even there. I actually felt a little bad, having made her put up with our antics. Aww… She should just join us! Become a member of the Anime Appreciation Club!

Gotta go now. I have to watch Full Metal Alchemist! Bye!
